Behind the Pages: Reflections from My Author’s Spot Feature at The Luxe Library

Some events leave you energized long after they’re over, and The Luxe Library’s Author’s Spot was one of those moments for me. I’m still smiling thinking about the people who tuned in, the questions that pushed the conversation deeper, and the genuine encouragement that filled the space. Sharing Beyond the Bake Sale: The True Calling of a PTA President in a room full of readers, leaders, and community builders was a reminder of why I wrote this book in the first place.
I’m grateful to The Luxe Library for inviting me and for creating a platform that celebrates both authors and the community voices shaping meaningful change. Everything flowed so seamlessly, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful dialogue. Together we explored what parent–school partnerships can really look like when we lead with purpose, empathy, and a commitment to showing up for our kids.
